Is money paid to Gower secure? PDF Print

Gower is a fully bonded member of the  Association of British Travel Agents (A.B.T.A.) and holds a Civil Aviation Authority (C.A.A.) Air Travel Organiser's Licence (A.T.O.L.) therefore your financial arrangements are completely secure.

Please visit the A.B.T.A. website at www.abta.com or the C.A.A. website at www.atol.org.uk for detailed information.

The basic principles of the bonding and licencing schemes are that in the event of our financial failure as a company prior to your departure, A.B.T.A. or the C.A.A. will refund any monies paid to Gower by you and in the event of our financial failure during your holiday they will repatriate you to your country of origin.

Our C.A.A. licence fully protects all holidays that travel by air where Gower has booked the flights on your behalf.

Our A.B.T.A. bond protects hoildays that

  • Travel by coach or

  • Travel by air, where you have booked your own flights. Only the monies that you have paid to Gower will be protected. Please note that the flights will not be protected unless you have taken out "Airline Failure Insurance" direct with the airline. Only then will you receive a refund for the flight payments or be repatriated in the event the airline's failure.
