Yes, however we do not advise it unless you are a choir without instruments. There are two reasons. Firstly the no frills airlines open their booking systems much later than the traditional airlines and their booking policies even then make it difficult for us to obtain a single flight price for the whole group. Secondly, their policies regarding luggage and especially instruments have always been difficult for musical groups to cope with and recently have become more so. Finally, their policies in terms of helping customers to cope with events that affect the departure of their flights and the cancellations of their flights are significantly poorer than those of the traditional scheduled airlines. As an individual on say a family holiday, you might be prepared to book with the no frills airlines and take that risk, but as a group organiser you have to weigh-up the implications of this happening to your group and decide whether other potential advantages are more important. |
