CONCERTS, EXCURSIONS AND ACCOMMODATIONPotential concerts include the Lindenkirche. Berlin was bombed flat during the last great war, so old buildings and monuments are limited mostly to a few survivors and some huge restoration efforts. The Reichstag's rebuild is incredible and can be visited for free; the rooftop terrace provides superb views. Pieces of the Berlin Wall are still visible. Berlin's main Cathedral is impressive and fully restored. Gendarmenmarkt square is old and beautiful, while Potsdamer Platz, bohemian Kreuzberg and Prenzlauer Berg are a fascinating mix of old and spectacular new. Accommodation would be in either 3* hotels, all with en suite facilities, or youth accommodation having twin-bedded rooms for adults and multi-bedded rooms for students.
