Our record on safety is second to none. Our ethos has always been to provide a higher standard of coaches and hotels than is provided by most school and group tour operators in the U.K. We believe that we are able to achieve this as we only work with a relatively few number of suppliers and are thus very comfortable with the repeated quality that they provide. This has now been formalised into a Safety Management System as follows:
Since 1995 Gower has been working with the Warwickshire Fire Brigade who have provided our Company with a number of foreign hotel inspection courses. All our staff have been trained, and retrained, in hotel inspections. We believe that this aspect of safety is too important to leave to outside agencies. Within our Safety Management System we also monitor the safety procedures of our other key suppliers, such as coach companies and concert venues. For any emergencies you may experience whilst on tour, we have a designated personal phone line for 24-hour emergency contact. The General Manager of the company will be on duty day and night to receive any calls. |
