Cork
Sample Itinerary

The south east of Ireland is the sunniest and driest corner, with stunning coastal scenery and historic towns.  Cork itself is both charming and lively with its well-known markets, busy quays, Shaky Bridge, Fitzgerald Park, impressive cathedral and the Cork Butter Exchange, a reminder of Cork’s eighteenth-century status as the most important port in Europe for dairy products.

CONCERTS, EXCURSIONS AND ACCOMMODATION

There are many concert venues available and our performing groups are well received here.  Concerts can be arranged in a variety of venues from squares and churches to gardens and parks.

Why not visit Kilkenny, Ireland’s finest medieval city, and tour the imposing castle, cathedral and tower.  Waterford is just a short distance away, famous for its crystal and Heritage Centre, a showcase for recently excavated Viking and Norman artifacts of outstanding quality and design.

Not to be missed is The Rock of Cashel, arguably the most extraordinary architectural site in Ireland, a spectacular natural formation topped with Christian buildings from virtually every period.

Accommodation would be in 3* hotels with twin-bedded rooms for adults, multi-bedded rooms for students, all having en suite facilities.
