SAMPLE    I T I N E R A R Y

DAY ONE

• Depart from your home town
• Late afternoon or evening ferry from Dover to Calais

DAY TWO

• Afternoon arrival at your accommodation in Chianciano Terme
• Evening meal at your accommodation

DAY THREE

• Breakfast at your accommodation
• Spend a morning and afternoon in the beautiful City of Siena. Simply take in the breathtaking square, Piazza del Campo, which is still the scene of the very dangerous, medieval Palio horse race each summer. Climb the tower over-looking the square (only for the very fit) and visit the magnificent black and white marbelled Basilica.
• Evening meal at your accommodation
• Early evening concert at Parco Acqua Santa, Chianciano Terme or
• Late evening concert at Piazza Garibaldi, Passignano

DAY FOUR   

• Breakfast at your accommodation
• Visit Florence by coach. Initially go to the Piazzale Michelangelo, where you get a splendid view of the City.
• On a walking tour of the City centre you can visit the famous Cathedral, The Duomo, then walk down the Palazzo Vecchio and the Piazza della Signoria, where you will find many statues including Michelangelo’s David. Walk on further to the Ponte Vechio bridge, with its old shops, that straddles the River Arno. If you have any time visit the Ufizzi Gallery
• Evening meal in a local restaurant
• Participation in Mass at Florence Duomo, followed by a short recital or
• Evening concert in Santa Maria dei Ricci for choirs and orchestras

DAY FIVE

• Breakfast at your accommodation
• Visit the beautiful town of Perugia and  then onto the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi
• Evening meal at your accommodation
• Evening concert at the Terme in Chianciano  or
• Evening concert in the beautiful church in Pienza next door to the Pope’s Palace

DAY SIX

• Breakfast at your accommodation
• Depart by coach for Calais

DAY SEVEN
