Lake Garda is the largest and cleanest of the Italian lakes, the most popular, and home of the Valpolicella, Bardolino and Soave wine.  At the northwest tip of the lake sits Riva del Garda, an excellent base for your music tour. 

Riva itself is a delightful town, from the 11th Century history, that surrounds its moated castle, to the more modern Italian traditions of  ice-cream parlours, pizza restaurants and cafes.

It is within easy reach of other towns such as Arco, Torbole, Limone and historic Malcesine with the imposing Monte Baldo directly above it providing magnificent views of the Lake. Just a short distance from Riva is the exciting city of Verona, home of Shakespeare’s `Romeo and Juliet’ and it’s Roman Ampitheatre. Throughout the summer, the Ampitheatre plays host to an array or professional performed operas.

CONCERTS, EXCURSIONS AND ACCOMMODATION

Lake Garda offers an a variety of venues that include many prominent squares, churches and castles throughout the region, that will meet any group’s performing criteria. 

Excursions are plentiful and varied.  Steamer trips on the lake are thoroughly enjoyable as is the funicular to the summit of Monte Baldo. 

Enjoy a day trip to Venice and perhaps participate in Mass at St. Mark’s Basilica.  Visit Gardaland Theme Park and Caneva Water World or spend a day in Verona and watch an exciting performance at the Arena di Verona.

Accommodation would be in either 3* or 4* hotels situated at the northern end of the lake, all with swimming pools.   Adults will be in twin-bedded rooms and students in multi-bedded rooms, all having en suite facilities.
