CONCERTS, EXCURSIONS AND ACCOMMODATION

Map of Austria

Concert possibilities include the bandstand at St. Gilgen, the famous 'Sound of Music' church of St. Michael's, the Pergola im Kurgaten in Berchtesgaden or the Kapitalplatz in Salzburg.

Salzburg is Austria at its most quintessential, offering the best of the country’s architecture  and a musical heritage set by its most famous son Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Excursions can include a visit to the Mirabell Gardens, a ride on the funicular railway to visit the Hohensalzburg and Fortress for spectacular views across the city. A cable-car ride to the Eagles Nest, one of Hitler’s former summer residences, is very popular.

Accommodation is situated within easy reach of Salzburg, in either 2* or 3* family-run hotels, both providing twin-bedded rooms for adults and multi-bedded rooms for students, all with en suite facilities.
