Sample Itinerary

Situated in the heart of the lush, surrounding countryside of Bohemia, Prague is an incredibly beautiful city with a wealth of architecture, completely untouched by natural disaster or war.

The River Vltava divides the capital into two unequal halves. The left bank houses the most obvious sights, Prague Castle, the cathedral, the former palaces of the aristocracy and the Baroque gardens. On the right bank is the `Old Town’, home of the old Jewish quarter and cemetery and the famous Wenceslas Square

CONCERTS, EXCURSIONS AND ACCOMMODATION

Map of Eastern Europe

A wide range of high quality venues are available for all types of music ensembles.  Concerts are arranged by our experienced representative, resident in Prague.  These include performances at St. Nicholas’s Church in the Old Town Square, Hlahol Hall,  Majakovsky Hall, amongst many others, all located in Prague.

Highly recommended is a visit to one of the spa towns located west of Prague, such as Karlovy Vary, Marianske Lazne and Frantiskovy Lazne, which could be combined with a visit to the Pilsner Brewery en route.  Venues here could include a performance at one of the stunning colonnades or churches, such as St. Mary Magdalen Church in Karlovy Vary.

Accommodation would be in either 2* or 3* hotels in Prague.  For a two-centre tour to include Karlovy Vary, accommodation would be at a 3* hotel.  Hotels in both destinations offer twin-bedded rooms for adults and multi-bedded rooms for students with en suite facilities.
