Barcelona Costa del Maresme :- Between Barcelona and the Costa Brava is the area of Costa del Maresme. Situated at the eastern end of Costa del Maresme is the resort of Malgrat de Mar.
As in the Costa Dorada area, Malgrat de Mar is within easy reach of many excursions, such as the city of Barcelona, Montserrat Monastery and the historic walled city of Girona. Aqualeon water-park is not far away, and for those willing to travel a little further afield it is possible to visit the town of Figueres, famous for its Salvador Dali Museum.
Concert venues are arranged by our very experienced local representative and can include participation in Mass at Barcelona Cathedral, a concert in the Pineda de Mar Church or Square, or a performance in one of the many bandstands, theatres and squares along the seafront.
Accommodation would be in a 3* hotel with swimming pool, situated close to the beach.
Barcelona Costa Dorada :- From Barcelona to the south of Tarragona lies the virtually unspoilt area of the Costa Dorada.
Concert venues are arranged by our very experienced local representative and can include El Vandrell Church and Museum, participation in Mass at Barcelona Cathedral or an outdoor performance in the gardens of the Pau Casals Museum.
Whilst here you can easily visit the elegant Roman city of Tarragona, majestically sited on a rocky bluff rising sheer above the sea, the Monastery of Montserrat, with its spectacular views across parts of the Catalunya region, the city of Barcelona with the Sagrada Familia, Tibidabo, Ramblas and much, much more. However, for the young at heart the temptation of the excellent theme park of Port Aventura is a must.
Accommodation would be in a 3* hotel with swimming pool, situated close to the beach.
