ItineraryPrague and The Czech Republic :-

Situated in the heart of the lush, surrounding countryside of Bohemia, Prague is an incredibly beautiful city with a wealth of architecture, completely untouched by natural disaster or war.

The River Vltava divides the capital into two unequal halves. The left bank houses the most obvious sights, Prague Castle, the cathedral, the former palaces of the aristocracy and the Baroque gardens. On the right bank is the `Old Town’, home of the old Jewish quarter and cemetery and the famous Wenceslas Square.

cz.marianske.lazne.colannade1A wide range of high quality concert venues are available for all types of music ensembles.  Concerts are arranged by our experienced representative, resident in Prague.  These include performances at St. Nicholas’s Church in the Old Town Square, Hlahol Hall,  Majakovsky Hall, amongst many others, all located in Prague.

Highly recommended is a visit to one of the spa towns located west of Prague, such as Karlovy Vary, Marianske Lazne and Frantiskovy Lazne, which could be combined with a visit to the Pilsner Brewery en route.  Venues here could include a performance at one of the stunning colonnades or churches, such as St. Mary Magdalen Church in Karlovy Vary.

Accommodation would be in either 2* or 3* hotels in Prague.  For a two-centre tour to include Karlovy Vary, accommodation would be at a 3* hotel.  Hotels in both destinations offer twin-bedded rooms for adults and multi-bedded rooms for students with en suite facilities.

ItineraryPoland and Krakow :-krakow3

Owing to its assembly of monuments, Krakow has been listed as one of the world’s twelve most historic sites by UNESCO having survived, almost intact, throughout World War II. The city is famous for its many churches, the most well known being the Kosciol Mariacki or St Mary’s, where every morning you can hear a trumpet call.

Concerts venues in both Warsaw and Krakow would suit a variety of ensembles, performances being in spa centres, theatres, churches and cathedrals.

As Krakow was, up until the beginning of the 17th century, the capital of Poland, a visit to the Wawel Castle is a must, as most of the Polish kings are buried here.

The castle houses an extraordinary collection of tapestries and art. You can take a guided tour of the old Jewish quarter of Kazimierz, where many of the scenes for Schindlers List were filmed, or travel out to the ruins of Oswieciem concentration camp, better known as Auschwitz.

Visit The Royal Salt Mine at Wieliczka where, underground, there is a unique town, the floors, chandeliers and sculptures of the chapel all made from salt.

Accommodation would be in 2* and 3* hotels offering twin-bedded rooms for adults and multi-bedded rooms for students, all with en suite facilities.
